Melanie Schumacher
Melanie Schumacher’s bold series was created with a rainbow of acrylic paint and (awesome) pouring medium. This series focused on color and movement – the combinations and relationships of colors, the movement of the paint, and ultimately, capturing it’s journey across the canvas. Since the days of drawing teddy bears and watching Bob Ross, Melanie Schumacher has been drawing, designing and painting as much as possible. When she’s not creating art, she’s baking, or laughing, but she’s probably doing all three at the same time. She finds inspiration in the abstracts found in nature, the physical art making experience, and the child-like joy that comes with making things. She hopes that her paintings will inspire the viewer, to explore their own art adventures.
