Kjrsten Holt

As an artist coming back to regular practice after a long time away (working in technology), I find myself drawn to traditional materials including ceramics and other sculptural media. I gravitate towards the organic, making work that celebrates my curiosity about life on Earth. Much of my work centers on plants, animals and human forms, though as I navigate my return to art-making I am experimenting a lot. I find myself wanting to create work that other people can touch and manipulate, because to me, touch is an essential part of appreciating a unique object.
